This 1989 Chevrolet Caprice is a former police car that is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and it is finished in blue over blue upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 15″ steel wheels, chrome-finished bumpers, an ECU tuning chip, an adjustable fuel-pressure regulator, an aftermarket driveshaft, aftermarket intake and exhaust components, a replacement front split-bench seat, and a factory cassette stereo as well as revised suspension, braking, and steering components added by the 9C1 Police Package. The car is said to have operated in Farmington, Connecticut, before it was decommissioned, and it was acquired by the seller’s father in 2001. Work performed within the last three years is said to have included replacing the climate-control blower motor, ignition coil, alternator, distributor, spark plugs, and various brake components as well as overhauling the fuel system and converting the air-conditioning system to utilize R134a refrigerant. This Caprice is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of his father with a clean Carfax report and a clean Connecticut title in the name of the seller’s father.

The 5.7-liter V8 is equipped with electronic fuel injection and has reportedly been modified with an Edelbrock intake manifold, a throttle body spacer, a Jet Performance Products ECU tuning chip, an adjustable fuel-pressure regulator, and a K&N air filter. The seller states that a PerTronix ignition coil was installed in 2020, at which time the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel filter, distributor, and spark plugs were replaced. Work in 2022 is said to have included fitting a remanufactured alternator, replacing the battery, and changing the oil, while the windshield washer pump was reportedly replaced in June 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller states that the car is equipped with an aftermarket driveshaft along with aftermarket headers, a high-flow catalytic converter, and a pair of Flowmaster mufflers. The underside was reportedly cleaned and coated in 2001.
