Revell Germany B17G 1/72 scale

This kit deserves a five star rating. The parts are in three separate bags with no flash on the sprues. The direction sheet is divided into separate steps which can easily be followed. However close attention is required as the directions are multi lingual and fine print. Decals are included for "Miss Mischief" and "Nine 0 Nine" which was operated by the Collins Foundation lost in a tragic crash recently. Thus spurring me to build a replica as I had seen the aircraft fly and crawled through it. The recessed panel lines for detail and smaller size makes it a good choice. However this is a Level 5 build which per Revell is a difficult build with over 150 parts requiring a very high level of skill. Not having built in the past year I plan to complete a less detailed model first and then jump into this one. A must have for those with the skills to build it.
Precise, durable, realistic, with easy to follow instructions.

The product is very precisely made, when parts have to go inside another - no issues. Proportionally they are thinner than the kits originals which leads to a more realistic look. For durability, they will last longer because being made of metal, if you are unfortunate and catch one, unlike plastic they will bend first rather than snapping which plastic will do. fitting them is easy, just follow the clear instructions which comes with them. I honestly cannot say a bad thing about them.
Revell Germany B-17G Flying Fortress Bomber 1:72

I have a great interest on the 8th Army Air Corp that were stationed in England during WWII. This kit is Fantastic. A lot of attention went into making this kit. The molds are pretty clean which really brings out the details on this plane. I would not recommend this as a 1st model build due to having so many fine parts. This is perfect size model that will not take up a lot of space. One of America's best bombers and a great model to own!

A great kit, a great plane and a great addition to any model maker's collection. This aircraft is one of many others that I have enjoyed making, and I would recommend this to everyone else. This plane has it's rightful spot hanging from my ceiling along the other multi-engine aircraft I have made. It has multiple options decal wise and gives the builder the opportunity to become a sole part of the aircraft, even when it is completed. Have a great few days building this aircraft!
