What does happiness, unicorns and rainbows smell like?

These new home fragrances launching at the National Theatre Bookshop by DOIY attempts to reveal the answer.

As a houseproud nation we're big on creating special scents that will waft from room to room and greets guests when they enter our home. Guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face – rainbow scent, happiness scent and unicorn scent (not that these exist in real life, of course) are just three smells that you can now spritz around your home for £12 a can.

To add a sense of mystery to each scent, the connotations of each spray is displayed through a series of words on the printed label of the can.

The unicorn scent, which is inspired by cotton candy, is described as: 'Pink, sweet, gorgeous, dream, fantasy, kids for ever, purity, grace, mystery, legend, wild, imagination, purple, wings.'
