In this particular case maybe they weren't 100% sure yet? Because there are a China variant, then an Indian variant, and then comes a 3rd global variant (with Xiaomi phones). When this is properly released they will likely update specs list.

@gsmarena could you guys please show on your specs page if the phones actually got mono or stereo speakers? That would be very helpful in making a decision whether or not to buy the device. Thanks!

The audio department is downgrade since note 12, the Redmi note 11 has stereo speaker.
