Today in Georgia Anchor
Tesia Reed

Tesia Reed anchors WALB’s Today in Georgia and reports on local stories. She joined the team in April 2018. She started her career at WTVM, our sister station in Columbus. She covered a variety of news stories including the Lisa Graham murder for hire trial, the Troup County man convicted of killing five people inside his family home, and closer to our way in Lumpkin, where she covered the controversy following the investigation into the mayor. She comes to WALB from WTOC, our sister station in Savannah, covering stories like St. Patrick’s Day festivities, the Georgia Dome implosion and weathering multiple hurricanes including Matthew, Harvey and Irma. She was raised in Cobb County and loves everything about the Peach State! She’s a proud Georgia Southern Eagle, but you may also find her doing the “dirty bird” as she cheers on the Atlanta Falcons. If you have any story ideas Tesia would love to hear from you.
