Default welded diff

Hi guys

don't take the piss please just after some info

How do i weld my ap1 diff?

Anyone got any pictures of which bits to weld and how to it?

If you have to ask this question, I'm guessing that you aren't doing the welding yourself. If that's the case then your welder should what to do.

Im not doing it myself no, but the man im using has done a lot of bmw open Diffs and doesn't want to mess this up. that's why im asking

You don't want relative motion between the two halves.

So you do this:

So that's an s2000 diff pictured above?
Do i remove the diff from the casing completely or is it better to do it in place?
