Every Key West sunset celebrated

A trip to Key West is never complete without a sunset celebration at Mallory Square. Street performers, including mimes, musicians, a fellow who has trained his cats to do amazing things, and a tightrope walker who juggles as he goes, are free for the watching (and listening).

Crafters are on hand to sell everything from T-shirts to beaded jewelry, and food vendors can be found scattered about. Key lime pie, anyone? It’s all there. Just buy a margarita and take it all in.

There will be plenty of time the next day to stroll the palm-lined streets to see the old gingerbread mansions, tin-roofed conch houses, and ride the Conch Tour Train.

Mallory Square is at 400 Wall Street, Key West. www.sunsetcelebration.org.
