In a pan, add 1 1/2 cup of water. Next, add 4-5 cloves, 1/2 inch cinnamon stick, 1/2 inch grated ginger. Bring to boil. Next, add in tea powder/masala. Cook for 1-2 minutes on low flame. Next, add 1/2 cup milk and boil. Add in sugar as per taste. Boil and sieve. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 50 Gram Cloves
  • 10-15 Black Peppercorns
  • 3-4 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1-2 Glasses Of Water
  • Honey As Per Taste
  • Lemon Juice (Optional)

Directions

  • In a pan, dry roast cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns, and cloves.
  • Switch off the flame and once cool, blend to make a powder.
  • In a glass of water, add 1 tsp of the clove mix and add honey as per taste. Mix and drink up.

It is always a good idea to add some spices to the masala when prepare rice. It always adds a nice flavour to regular rice. Adding 2-3 cloves will help you add great flavour to even simple, boiled rice or jeera rice.
