Anubias Hastifolia (arrowhead) is unique in that it can be distinguished by its arrowhead-shaped leaves. It is much longer stemmed than other Anubias variants, but it is still easy to care for and can grow in both aquariums and terrariums both submerged and immersed. They need little light and do not need additional CO2.

Hard to remove growing medium completely
Purchase this anubias for my 15gallon shrimp only tank, item arrive much sooner than anticipated. Plant appears to be healthy and green in damped pot, there’re 3 brown spots on separate leaves, well developed roots with a few rotten ones, no big deal with trimming. The growing medium is hard to remove completely around root shoots, if you plan to have it bare root for your tank. I’ll try removing them again after few days of quarantine in submerged water. No visible signs of hitchhikers. It is priced a bit higher than other online sellers, I think it’s caused by Second day delivery rate. Overall satisfied :)

First thing I have to say is this little baby was far larger than I thought he’d be! I was expecting maybe 6 inches tall with 2 or 3 leaves but what I received is pushing a full 12 inches for its longest leaf!
He looks incredibly healthy with a strong root system! I got him in his water and placed up with my other Anubias, will update in a week or so!

Beautiful plant arrived in the dead of MN winter and slowly melted, which is to be expected. With a little patience new growth has emerged and it is now a beautiful plant again. Adds height to my setup. The last heater cooked my fish and plants, so I now go without. I keep the light off (unless special occasion) and the tank is situated in a bright spot out of direct sunlight. Toss a pinch of epsom salt in with each water change. Anubias, java ferns and Marimo moss balls are beautiful and thriving.

There were two plants which is cool. There were a few funky leaves that I cut off, and they look like they've been funky for a while. I don't appreciate being sent plants with that many damaged leaves. With the leaves cut off, the bonus plant only feels like a 50% bonus, lol. The plants also don't look that much like the one in the product image... I'm guessing they'll grow taller?
