April Reed was an assistant athletic trainer from August, 2018 thru November, 2021. This bio now exists as a historical reference.

April Reed joined the athletic department in August, 2018.

A 2016 Virginia Tech graduate, Reed came to Shenandoah after working with the men's lacrosse program at fellow ODAC member Guilford College in the spring of 2018.

While pursuing her Master's of Science in Athletic Training from UNC-Greensboro, Reed also worked with the North Carolina A&T football program as well as Northwest Guilford (North Carolina) and Page (North Carolina) high schools. 

As an undergrad at Tech, she worked with the football and men's soccer programs as well as numerous summer camps.

Her primary sport responsibilities at SU include the women’s basketball, softball, field hockey, and men's and women's golf programs.
