San Francisco Pride Parade 2022: See All The Best Moments in Photos
After a year two-year hiatus, the San Francisco Pride Parade made a triumphant comeback to celebrate gay rights.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Sunday marked the 52nd San Francisco Pride Parade. Marchers gathered in the streets to celebrate the rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender Americans to love freely.
After going on a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the parade made a triumphant return as thousands cheered on marchers holding giant rainbow flags and music played all around.
There was also a motorcycle brigade and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi holding a rainbow-clad gavel.

While the festivities were undoubtedly joyous, the mood was nonetheless dampened by the overturning of Roe V. Wade last Friday.
