| Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. This is a tricyclic antidepressant. It inhibits uptakes of serotonin (5-HT) and noradrenaline to nerve terminals in the brain. Clomipramine is a chlorine derivative of imipramine and it exhibits more potent inhibitory activity against serotonin uptake than that against noradrenaline uptake compared to other tricyclic antidepressants such as imipramine. |
