Finding light for Bredasdorp Gasteria in your home
Bredasdorp Gasteria may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Bredasdorp Gasteria in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Bredasdorp Gasteria
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Bredasdorp Gasteria after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can someone please help me identify this type of #Gasteriaplant ? And is the brown a bad sign? #plantadvice #PlantID #newplantmom #Gasteria

How should I tend to my Succulents damage? When I arrived home and began to check my new succulent more carefully, I noticed what looked like cuts, almost like someone just put clippers right to it. She looks very healthy, but the damage is still making me worry. A few of the limbs that have been cut seemed to have closed up nicely and should be fine. There's this one huge gash that I am worried about. What should I do? - #succulentlove #helpneeded #succulentsquad

I was at my local store just looking for some lightbulbs when curiosity got the best of me and I HAD to go check out their plant section. Looking around and found this girl! What a beauty! Not even home yet but I can't even put down my excitement about her. Glad to add her to the family. Any name suggestions, I might need help with this one! Edit; I've decided I am going to do a pull. All names suggested shall be put into a hat and I will pull one on Wednesday! Whichever is pulled will be the name. Thank you all for the suggestions. - #happyplants #newplant #succulentsquad #lovesuccs #namemyplants

Hi, I'm a newbie to plants. This plant was given to me on 6/17 in a metal. I water it 1-2x a week. Its outside, getting 2-3 hrs morning sun. I noticed its getting yellow and dry at the base area. What can I do to help it? #Gasteria

How do I transfer a water propagated succulent into soil? I have my little water prop who now has larger roots and I’d like to move him into soil soon, how do I get him accustomed to it?
-
Omg!! Little da Vinci has roots now!! For context: he was a rescue from a plant nursery, the employees told me I shouldn’t get it because it looked like it was dying but I was determined to find out why. I got home and realized the reason he had been wiggling in his pot was because he got broken off his root system and hadn’t been watered for a few days 😱 I’ve been water propagating for about a week now and tada! My patience and love has paid off! 😁 #NewGrowth #RescuePlants #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #WhatTheSuccWednesday
