April Reed was a member of the Azusa Pacific Softball and Women's Soccer team from 1991-1995. As a member of both the Women's Soccer and Softball teams, Reed became the first Cougar female athlete to earn All-Golden State Athletic Conference honors in 2 different team sports. She was a three-time All-GSAC pick in softball and two-time All-GSAC honoree in soccer. In 1993, she was also named to the NAIA All-District 3 team as a goalie in soccer. In 1994, she was an NAIA All-American Scholar-Athelte. Throughout her career as a Goalie for the women's soccer team, Reed set ten school records as a four-year goalie; including most saves in a game (24) and in a season (169). Throughout her career with the Azusa Pacific Softball team, she compiled a .328 career batting average as a first baseman in softball and was second on Azusa Pacific's all-time list with 102 RBI's.
